I have held several joint and individual exhibitions in the Cambridgeshire area. I am a regular exhibitor with Cambridge Open Studios and display themed paintings on my home life, my children and my travel. This includes Cambridgeshire scenes, figurative ballet pieces and still lives. Much of my work is drawn from life and from my own photographs. My sketches are generally not reworked and provide the basis for finished pieces as I have a fresh and spontaneous approach to my work.

My love of art is shared with adults whom I have taught in the past at local community education colleges. In 2006/7 I will be undertaking a PGCE course in Art and Design in secondary education at Cambridge University to further my teaching skills and also enhance my own work.
